The Norfolk Girls Hockey Association would like to thank all participating teams, sponsors and NGHA members for their involvement in our 2009 tournament. It was an exciting 3 days of fun for all our girls with 47 games played in 5 divisions, including Competitive B for the first time! We sincerely hope every player and family member came away with fond memories of their time spent with us.

Special thanks to all our NGHA players and families, volunteers, the Turner family, Mayor Travale, the arena staff, referees and NGHA executive.

Parents and players had a great time. We liked the shootout format, it made for more excitement.

Incredble tournament, you went above and beyond our expectations. Everyone we met with were very friendly, always smiling and willing to help out and answer questions.

The music between plays was awesome!

The girls loved the shoot-outs and face painting.

Our team was blessed to be part of the Opening Ceremonies. Very heart-warming and classy. It certainly puts everything into perspective.

I can't think of anything that you could do to make it better and coming to Norfolk was the best decision our team could have made, Simcoe is a beautiful city!

The atmosphere was tremendous.

All our parents and players had a great weekend as the tournament went very smooth. The shoot-out was a new idea and I personally like the format. Our parents thought it added some excitement to the games. The Simcoe area was great to visit and hopefully we will see you next year.

Thank you for a great weekend. Our players, coaches and parents had a wonderful time all around. You guys did a fantastic job!

Everything was very well organized, the rinks were immaculate, the girls loved the music and most important, all you guys were very nice and courteous to us all.
